VI COMMANDO

Prt. Jack Needler, formerly of the 2nd Bn. Royal Norfolk Regiment, served with HQ Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, 30^th August 1943.

Promoted to Corporal, Cpl. Jack was reported as having died from his wounds on 20th September 1946, aged 27 years. He was the son of Arthur Appleby Needler and Lizzie Mabel Beatrice Needler, of Hull. He was laid to rest in Hull Eastern Cemetery (Yorkshire, UK) Compt. 227. Grave 45.
